Ecuador is well known for its indigenous markets which explode in an array of exotic colours, sounds and smell where you will meet hundreds of local craft people dealing with international travellers.

Day tours to these special locations seek to facilitate the kind of cultural exchange between the traveller and the people living in these destination spots.
Our tours include transportation, guidance and lunch at old colonial haciendas or beautiful country inns.  Among the most known markets we recommend:

Otavalo:  daily departures, special market day: Saturdays
Handicrafts at the famous Poncho Plaza.  Cotacachi (leather products). San Antonio de Ibarra (beautiful wood carvings).  On Saturdays there is also an animal market in Otavalo.
